Package Overview

What's Inside This Package

The 4 Day Yamuna Pushkaralu Mathura Tour Package is a comprehensive Braj pilgrimage woven around the Pushkaralu festival. Over 4 days, you complete the Pushkar Snan at the four most significant Yamuna ghats and also cover Govardhan — the sacred hill lifted by Lord Krishna.

The Govardhan Parikrama on Day 3 is the spiritual centrepiece of this package — a 21 km circumambulation of Giriraj Ji that takes 5–6 hours on foot. For seniors, e-rickshaws cover the full circuit. The visit to Mansi Ganga and Radha Kund within Govardhan adds depth to the pilgrimage.

Day 4 completes the inner Braj circuit with Gokul and Baldeo — the temple of Balram Ji (Dauji) — bringing the full Braj dham experience together in one connected journey.

Important things about 4 Day Yamuna Pushkaralu Mathura Tour Package

  • The Govardhan Parikrama is one of the most spiritually significant walks in Hinduism — a 21 km circumambulation of the sacred hill Lord Krishna lifted to protect the residents of Braj. During Yamuna Pushkaralu 2026, the Parikrama carries extraordinary additional merit. Key stops include Mansi Ganga (the kund where Krishna manifested the Ganga), Mukharavind (the face of Giriraj Ji), Radha Kund and Shyam Kund (the most sacred kunds in Braj), and Kusuma Sarovar (a stunning 18th-century stepwell). For the 4 Day Yamuna Pushkaralu Mathura Tour Package, the Parikrama is the Day 3 centrepiece. E-rickshaws complete the full circuit in approximately 2.5 hours for seniors. Carry good walking shoes if you plan to walk — the path has uneven stretches. Wear a cap, carry 2 litres of water, and start by 7 AM for the most comfortable Parikrama experience in June.

  • Four days of pilgrimage in June requires practical and organised packing. Carry 4–5 sets of light cotton clothes — one for each day's snan plus a spare. Walking shoes for the Govardhan Parikrama (Day 3) and non-slip rubber sandals for all four ghat locations are both required. Government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, or driving licence) is mandatory for hotel check-in and VIP darshan queues. Budget ₹2,500–₹3,000 cash across the 4 days for Dana Dharma at four ghats, auto-rickshaws in Vrindavan, Govardhan circuit, and temple donations. Carry your gotra and ancestors' names — Pitru Tarpan is performed at four different ghats and the same information is required each time. Include ORS sachets, antacids, bandages for potential Parikrama blisters, and all personal medication. Days start at 5:30–6:00 AM — adjust your sleep schedule a few days before travel for a comfortable early-morning routine from Day 1.

  • Four days of active pilgrimage in Mathura-Vrindavan during June demands disciplined hydration and energy management. Temperatures range from 38°C to 43°C during daylight hours. All four daily itineraries front-load activities before 10 AM and resume after 4:30 PM — the midday window is for lunch, rest, and hotel downtime in air-conditioning. Drink a minimum of 4–5 litres of water daily, with ORS sachets particularly important on Govardhan Parikrama day (Day 3) when you will be outdoors for an extended period. Carry dry fruits, glucose biscuits, and light energy snacks for the Parikrama as food options along the circuit are limited. All meals included in the package are vegetarian, nutritious, and timed appropriately. Seniors should confirm their preference for e-rickshaw on Day 3 with the coordinator before departure.

  • Baldeo village, approximately 20 km from Mathura, is home to Dauji Temple — dedicated to Lord Balarama, elder brother of Krishna. The idol here is considered svaayambhu (self-manifested), and darshan is an essential completion of the inner Braj pilgrimage circuit. Visiting Dauji Temple during Yamuna Pushkaralu 2026 is particularly auspicious, as the combined Balarama-Krishna darshan during the Pushkaralu period carries complete Braj yatra merit. The temple is peaceful, far less crowded than Mathura-Vrindavan, and offers an intimate final darshan experience after three intensive days. Baldeo is a small village — carry cash as UPI connectivity can be intermittent. The temple dress code requires covered shoulders and below-knee clothing. Photography is permitted in the outer courtyard but not before the main deity.

  • By the end of this 4 Day Yamuna Pushkaralu Mathura Tour Package, you will have completed the Pushkar Snan at four sacred Yamuna ghats, attended four evening Yamuna Aartis, completed the Govardhan Parikrama, visited Radha Kund, and completed the inner Braj circuit from Mathura to Baldeo. According to traditional Pushkaralu theology, completing the snan at multiple ghats across multiple days multiplies accumulated merit — each additional ghat snan adds to, rather than replacing, the merit of previous ones. Many pilgrims on this 4-day package report that by Day 4, a profound sense of peace and completeness has settled — described in Braj tradition as the natural prasad of sincere pilgrimage. The combination of Yamuna Pushkaralu 2026's extraordinary spiritual window and the comprehensive Braj circuit makes this package one of the most complete sacred journeys available during this once-in-12-years festival.
